Our weekly virtual isoChoir is back!

James is off to the Royal Variety Performance on Friday 27th Nov, so the next get-together is Friday 4th December.

Combat the dreary news and social isolation with some fun!

Our mission is to brighten up your week and give singers a chance to learn a new song and get singing again, whilst regular choirs are shut down.

Book your place in isoChoir now and you’ll receive:

• Song lyrics and music score in your Resources.
• A live teaching session on Friday evening at 8pm – 9:30pm via Zoom
• An invitation to record your voice and participate in our virtual choir performance on 5th Decemeber.

Price £6 per device pay as you go, or £20 for four sessions, so families can all sing together!

Jim says: This will be live online teaching direct to you on your device, led by me at my piano.

We aim to make isoChoir as upbeat and interactive as possible, using music technology to give the best simulation of singing with others. In the next four weeks, as well as learning a new song each week, we will prepare one song for recording and ‘virtual performance’ in our online concert on 5th December.

What you will experience

• You will hear me clearly and be able to sing back along with me.
• You will see a gallery of faces of all the people participating in the session.
• You won’t be able to hear everyone at the same time singing however – there is no technology available yet that can reduce what is called the latency delay and varied connectivity or any feedback loop caused by your microphone hearing its own speaker and re-amplifying itself.
  

IMPORTANT: I will be online half an hour early (7:30pm) ahead of the session to help those who need a hand getting to grips with Zoom video conferencing. You’ll get a zoom link as soon as you register and we will email everything out to you as well the day before.
